This oil seal is usually used when oil leaks from the engine at the point where the gearshift lever enters it. If there is an oil leak in this place, make sure that it is not due to deformation of the stem itself, for example, after an accident. If the stem is not perpendicular to the engine wall and tilts to the side, then replacing the oil seal will not help - you will need to fix or replace the stem first.
