Reinforced brake hoses are designed to improve the response of brakes to the force applied on the lever (pedal). Due to the steel braid and Teflon, reinforced brake lines, in comparison with rubber hoses, hold significantly more pressure without deformation. Rubber brake hoses are prone to deformation, especially when the brake system heats up, which causes the brake lever to fail. Replacing rubber brake hoses with reinforced ones reduces the failure of the brake lever when the brake system warms up by at least 20-35%.
Installation:
In fact, the rear brake hose consists of several separate lines with metal connectors - feel free to remove them. To significantly save time, it is recommended to simply "snack" the stock brake line in several places and remove it in parts, since you will no longer need it. When removing the stock brake hose, remember in which places it passes and through which fasteners so that the reinforced hose can be stretched along the old path. Don't forget to pump the brakes after installing the hose!
