If you are the owner of a powerful Suzuki M109R / VZR1800 / M1800R (06-09) or Suzuki C109R /C1800R / VLR1800 (08 and above), then you have probably encountered a situation when approaching an intersection, you have no idea what gear your motorcycle is currently in... Starting from a traffic light in such a situation can be a big surprise for both you and road users when your monster stalls in the center of the intersection, starting, for example, from the third... That's exactly what a gearshift sensor is for, which will help you out many times!

Unlike similar devices on other motorcycles, this indicator reacts to the gear shift instantly, because it reads information directly from the "brains" of the motorcycle!

If we talk specifically about the transmission indicator for Suzuki M109R / VZR1800 / M1800R, then for this motorcycle it is not just a gadget, but a necessary device that makes up for the shortcoming of designers who did not provide a gearshift sensor in its first models (06-09)... The designers corrected themselves only in models from 2010 by integrating the transmission sensor into the tachometer of the motorcycle, but the owners of earlier versions were still left without this important component...

Compatibility:
Please note that the digital transmission indicator is suitable for a large number of Suzuki injection motorcycles that have a standard diagnostic port. In most cases, the sensor is used on Suzuki models that do not have a standard transmission indicator, for example, M109R / VZR1800 / M1800R 06-09. The sensor is also applicable on motorcycles that have a standard gearshift sensor, but due to global alterations, the standard sensor is removed and a separate digital indicator is installed instead.

This sensor variant is recommended for use on the following models: Boulevard M109R / M109R2 (06-09), C109R / C109T (08 and above), as well as Intruder VZR1800 / M1800R (06-09), C1800R / VLR1800 (08 and above).

Design options:
The transmission sensor is available in various color variants of the digital indicator:

• red;

• green;

• blue;

• yellow;

• white.

The cost of the transmission sensor does not depend on the choice of color of the digital indicator. The choice of color can only affect the expectation of your order if there is no sensor with the indicator color you are interested in...

Installation:
You don't need to solder or configure anything! The transmission sensor is installed in the standard diagnostic connector, which is located under the driver's seat, and the wire with the digital indicator is output to the handlebar of the motorcycle or any other place convenient for you!

Additional equipment:
The transmission sensor has modest dimensions (3cm height, 2cm width and 1.5cm depth) and can be installed on any flat surface on a double adhesive tape pre-installed on the back side, but there is also a more aesthetic placement option!
