Differences in the number of candles in the VZ800 / M800 / VL800 / M50 /C50 models:
Please note that on the Suzuki Intruder VZ800 / M800 / VL800 models manufactured for Europe, the manufacturer has been installing 4 candles only since 2009. On the remaining earlier models, both European and American, two candles were installed. After 2010, four candles were installed on the American versions of the Boulevard M50, but only two candles remained on the C50 after 2009. The exception for the American model is the version that is produced only for California - since 2009, 4 candles (two for each cylinder) have been installed on these motorcycles. There are other small-scale and specific exceptions.

Specification:
If you are thinking about IT or it's just time to replace the spark plugs, then you do not need to install regular spark plugs - it's better to install iridium analogues right away and forget about checking them for 5 years! A set of iridium candles will pay off several times during its operation compared to conventional spark plugs, as well as save you a lot of time due todue to the lack of the need to clean them and adjust the gap during maintenance. Please note that conventional candles, unlike iridium candles, need to be serviced every 6,000 km, namely, to clean and adjust the gap, which is very difficult to do...

What distinguishes iridium candles from ordinary ones and how are they better? The fact is that a particularly thin central electrode, 0.6 mm in diameter, made of iridium, allows a larger amount of the fuel-air mixture to be in the spark formation zone, which improves its flammability and accelerates the spread of the fire front.
